I mean no, some of us grew up in DC in the 80s/90s and  didn’t fit that mold. Definitely fewer than now, for sure, though.

And we got annoyed as hell when people from Potomac or Arlington said they are “from DC”!  :lol: [/quote]

DC is such a huge and cosmopolitan city that friggin' Potomac can't even compare. :lol:
