How many kids (number and %) get admitted to UMDCP from Einstein?
About 100 Einstein students apply to College Park each year, and 40-45 are accepted.
That is really poor performance compare to schools shown below. https://bethesdamagazine.com/bethesda-magazine/college-bound-4/ I'd want to make sure HS will prepare my kid for the next step. And given the cost of college, being able to get into the best instate option (UMDCP for us) is critical.
Actually if half get accepted fro Einstein that seems pretty comparable to the other schools. Of course loads of kids apply to high(er?) achieving colleges as well. It'a hard to know how many other schools Einstein kids apply to, but UMD is certainly the most common for all schools.
why does your kid have to be with only other kids who are going to UMD? Is he that fragile? Well, 1/2 of what? If only 100 kids out of 500 kids apply and 40/50 get in (which I doubt until someone can post actual data) - that's no more than 10% of student population.

My child wants to go to UMD. If anything going to Einstein over a W school will help with college admissions as less competition. Schools will only take so many kids from each high school.
