Well yes, you need to take the interests of the larger society into account when deciding to open schools. But you also need to take the interests of the larger society into account when deciding to close schools. School is an essential function of society, so the question isn't whether it makes sense to open schools, but rather whether it makes sense to close schools.[/quote]
