It will continue to always be in use, when the Purple Line is built.

Now I am wondering, though, which neighborhood includes "low income rental apartments" in biking distance of a public pool and has the money to pay environmental consultants to look for amphipods. Not to mention lawyers to file lawsuits. There's the Bethesda outdoor pool, but it's unaffected by Purple Line construction. You certainly could bike from, say, Lyttonsville to the Bethesda outdoor pool, but it's a longer bike trip for kids than people in this area would typically undertake.[/quote]
