No, I do take that into account.  I mentioned so above.  If they are brand new hardship priorities they can be discussed with the financial aid office.  If they are older hardships they would affect assets and be reflected in the financial aid award.

You chose not to spend what Yale asked.  Totally your prerogative, [b]and based on how you feel about an elite education, a completely intelligent and informed one[/b].  Your family is financially and academically successful and has many great choices - and you made one.  Take the W and stop complaining.[/quote]
