Let's try this another way to try to answer the initial question -- will MU be around next year. (And if we presume YES, will they keep the talent they have, attract more, etc.).... So, for those lurkers. If your DD played at WS in the past and left pre-MU, is she happy where she landed. Does she wish she had waited it out to get to the new world order of coaches? For MU parents. Is your DD happy? Will she stay or will she look at other options even just to keep them open? Anyone want to reply to these questions rather than fixating on one player?
For the players I know of that left, most have had buyer's remorse. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. I know of one that is happy and thriving. At the end of the day, everyone has to do what they feel is right and then hope for the best. We stayed and are glad we did. Most of the problems from last year are markedly better, and she likes her team and overall environment. As a parent, I see her happy and she has also gotten a lot better. And yes, the fact she gets to play a ton of minutes is a factor for both. She's getting better because MU is doing a better job than Spirit did as an organization, and she's getting better by being given a lot of play time and game experience. Training is great, but it really helps when you get time on the field to implement what is being taught against players you don't know. In training, you come to know your teammates and their moves so well.
Those that I know who left I think are happy. But they all had individual reasons as well as the overall club problems that have been well documented. But, with youth soccer people come and go and you tend to wish folks well.
