At risk of stating the obvious: Trump thinks he’s smarter than the Russians, Ukrainians, N Koreans, etc.   He needs the Russians to help fund his properties and he’s too scared of going broke to decline their financial input.  But he thinks he can take their money and outsmart them.  Fool.

The Senate Republicans are willing to ‘dance with the devil’ for four years or more so that they can remake an entire branch of government – the judiciary.  And if they save Trump’s a*s from removal, they would likely have a bit more leverage over him.

I would look for everyone to start throwing Rudy Giuliani under the bus so that Trump has a chance of survival.[/quote]
