[/quote] You didn't read the previous posts carefully. It may be possible that the number of black students increased for the one year from 2018 to 2019. Set that aside. What the long term data shows is the number has declined, and this is separate from the multi-race reporting option. The number of self-identified blacks in the incoming class dropped from 332, or 12.4% of the class in 1993, to 282, or 8.7% in 2009, the last year before the multi-race reporting option was introduced. Note that class size increased during that time period and the percentage of self-reported blacks in the state remained constant at about 19.5%. A similar decline occurred after the introduction of the multi-race option.[/quote]
