Oh, really?! That's exactly what is happening. Boys who can't make the cut in boys' sports are finding a new avenue. Wake up, Shirley.
+ 1. That's exactly what is happening in Connecticut. Two boys who were middle-of-the-pack runners on the boys team switched to the girls team and started breaking the records for girl runners at the state level. Girls on teams there were not able to go to the regional competitions because their slots were taken by boys who "identified" as girls. No hormones or surgeries, just an identity change.
This is possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Yes, people are FAKE CHANGING THEIR GENDER IDENTITY so they can do better at high school sports? HAHAHAHA!! Yeah, because it's way more important to do better at high school sports than it is to not be discriminated against, be able to date people you are attracted to, and so on.... This is just dumb.
That’s exactly what happened in CT. Average male athletes switched their gender identification and started winning races and breaking records. They could have stayed on the boys team and dated who they wanted.
Can you please point me to the part where they actually faked their gender identity for this? I must have missed that.
They can truly believe they are girls and still race with the boys. They have male bodies, no matter what their identity is. They should race against other male bodies.
Stay focused. Please re-read the bolded part above. It may be your opinion that people with "girl bodies" or whatever shouldn't race with boys. It may also be your opinion that people with "girl bodies" and higher than average testosterone levels, like Serena Williams, shouldn't be allowed to compete either. Maybe it's your opinion that we should just make anyone who's not 100% average take drugs to make them average? I dunno. But whatever your position, this has nothing to do with the ridiculous statement above, which I will repeat here because you seem to have problems with reading comprehension. This is what PP said, to which I was responding: "Boys who can't make the cut in boys' sports are finding a new avenue" No. Boys are not "pretend changing their gender identities" to find a new avenue to be better at sports.
