[/quote] Yeah for us it’s a dual benefit- we get a bit of time on our own AND the kids get some quality time with their grandparents. Both sets of my grandparents were local when I grew up and I spent so much time with them, often without my parents around. Both my parents and ILs live in a different state than us so my kids just don’t get that on a regular basis. They have a blast when they get a long weekend with them.[/quote]
