Socialism is the government's ownership of means of production. The Green New Deal will require such government ownership to implement because private sector will never self destruct in such a spectacular manner. Farm subsidies is a social program, but the abundance of social programs does not suddenly make a country socialist. Remember socialism is government ownership of means of production, it's different from social programs. [/quote]
