Charles and Camilla clearly have a great love, and Charles and Diana were clearly very badly suited to each other. They were all trapped in an untenable situation. I posted above about Diana’s mental health. Charles certainly could have been more compassionate, but given his upbringing and all the abuse he suffered at that boarding school, I don’t think he had the emotional tools to deal with her. Diana always said he was a very loving father to his sons, so I give him credit for that. [/quote]
