Blair's total score is only 1174. If the SMACs kids are getting 1500+ and I'd hope the 100 CAPs kids did well then how low do the rest of the scores need to be to bring it all down to 1174?
It's actually kind of odd. The stats come up different in different documents. Here are the different Blair documents: Class of 2018 Profile - https://mbhs.edu/departments/counseling/BlairProfile.pdf MBHS At a Glance - https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/regulatoryaccountability/glance/currentyear/schools/04757.pdf SMCS Magnet Profile - https://mbhs.edu/departments/counseling/MagnetProfile.pdf 2018 Class Profile - Average SAT Score - 1318 MBHS At a Glance - Average SAT Score - 1142 Maybe At a Glance takes out Magnet scores? Not sure why they would do that but it seems like the difference is about right.
Not really - the OP was looking at the largest common cohort in order to isolate for demographic differences. Simply looking at these bulk averages is kind of simple minded since it only tells us about a school's demographic mix, but please try again.
