[/quote] It is a boost when you have one IB school surrounded by AP schools. Marshall is the best example, having been a beneficiary of pupil placements from Langley, McLean, Madison and Falls Church for years (it is now closed to transfers). When you cluster five IB schools in the part of the county where the students are least likely to pursue IB, it's a different story. [/quote]
