I don’t see evidence of God in horrific things, but I am glad God’s promise of eternal life exists for those-all of us- that face horrible things. God didn’t put us here to suffer and die, he put us here to find Him and live wonderfully. Humans have a lot to account for. God isn’t making us be greedy, murder and rape each other, and generally be awful. We have choices about the way we live our lives. We are capable of good behavior, but not perfection. I think instead of asking God to account for the actions of His creations, you should ask them. He’s not forcing any human to be terrible. That’s our choice. [/quote]
