Scores in the 120s generally get accepted to LIV AAP.  Also, LLIII services vary greatly by school.  In some schools, it means advanced math, above grade level reading groups, and a pull out 1 hour per week.  In other schools, there aren't any advanced classes, and they only do a pull out 1 or 2 times per month.  Most schools in the rest of the country can at least manage to provide advanced math classes and advanced language arts classes to their above average children without having it even be part of the GT program.  Certainly, they can provide advanced classes to children scoring in the 120s without labeling those kids as gifted and busing them to another school.  [/quote]

And yet they can't. It is not happening through FCPS right now. If FCPS wants to start dismantling the AAP program, they should start by making sure LLIII and LLII program are robust right now.[/quote]
