I often post to our civic association, which is also officially apolitical.  My email might say that the SB is voting on X issue, and anyone who wants to provide input should send an email to Y, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.  Anyone who contacts me separately gets my own views, but the original email that is sent to the whole neighborhood is strictly informational.[/quote]
