Interesting observation.  I thought her darker side came out in last night's episode.  Her interaction with Madeline's husband was some thinly-veiled nasty. It seems she set up the meeting to discuss parenting not because she's concerned for Abigail but because she wants to further drive a wedge between Madeline and her daughter.

Not that she cares about Abigail in the slightest. I think she just wants to dig at Madeline as much as possible.[/quote]
