I'm quite liberal, but I think the idea of boycotting anyone who might be associate with Trump is ridiculous...not the least of which because it'll leave you sewing your own clothes from homespun cloth.  He's a threat to our democracy and our economy, but if you boycott a company based on Trump's tweets you are essentially letting him decide on winners and losers anyway.  Or are you planning to research the board of every clothing manufacturer and boycotting the ones that have a pro-Trump member?

Boycotting Ivanka Trump's line is one thing, boycotting LL Bean is another.[/quote]

Liberal here:
I feel the same way. LL Bean is a decent company that has done a lot to support the local New England economy and contributed a ton to environmental protection efforts.

Linda Bean is a looney heiress. She used her own personal, inherited money to fund these odious causes. But it was not official LL Bean profits directly from the company and the tersely worded statements lead me to believe that the rest of the Bean family can't stand her. They may actually have no standing to kick her off the Board, depending on the size of her ownership share and whatever was stipulated in the original patriarch's will. Basically, they are wait for her crazy ass to die off.

Don't hurt Maine - where jobs are scarce. All it does is feed into Linda Bean's victim complex.[/quote]
