There have been people that post about their experiences. But Mr play by age quickly spams them until their post gets pushed off the page.

Highly doubt.

Multiple clubs have specifically asked parents with Aug birthdays to make the club know if their kid is a grade up in school ASAP.

Arlingtons BY to SY faq covers Aug birthdays. They say grade in school can play a factor in team placement. They dont specifically ask parents to let then know if an August birthday is a grade up. (other clubs do) But its implied if grade in school is part of the decision process.
