Achilles FC U13 team played in the MLSNEXT Cup playoffs two weeks ago. Won in the round of 32, won in the round of 16, and made it to the quarterfinals. Still a playoff bracket against 32 other MLSNext teams.  Not the “showcase” where most other teams played regardless of making the actual tournament.

For a club that gets “crushed constantly” as you say, yet they made the playoff component of the MLSNext Cup.

It sounds like you know we know your DC’s team wasn’t selected. And who cares if other teams passed—didn’t see Phili Union, NY Redbulls or FC Delco, so the same could be said for Baltimore Armor, Alexandria and SYC (who went on to win the U13 Championship bracket).

You say Achilles FC routinely gets destroyed, yet in the tournament phase of the MLSNext Cup, their U13’s went to the quarterfinals in the 2nd tournament bracket.
