Sure, it would be great, but who is going to run the shot clocks? Parent volunteers? Those parent volunteers who already run the scoreboard struggle at times with understanding when to start/stop the game clock. Imagine a parent trying to do the shot clock after every turnover/change of possession. The only viable way it could work smoothly is if there is a 4th official paid to do it, and now, we are asking for additional money and we all know how that goes. They still don't have 3 officials for JV games because of cost.[/quote]
