Breaking: the felon sues WSJ for $10 BILLION. Get your popcorn for discovery and more exposes. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/trump-lawsuit-wall-street-journal-jeffrey-epstein-birthday-letter/
Folks this is it: the MAGA civil war. Trump realizes the monied powers behind the GOP are trying to dump him for Vance. This is the formal breakup between Trump and RW media. Holy sh#t. Get ready for Trump’s Night of the Long Knives.
Stop it with your break-up theory. The majority of MAGA is loyal to Trump. Also, to another PP, of course the WSJ knew Trump was going to sue. It says so in the article. He was reached for comment, and he told them he would sue if they published. And on that point, history shows he's a man of his word. So obviously WSJ has the goods to back up their claim. The question is, are Murdoch and the editor going to quash the intrepid reporters and settle with Trump? I hope not.
Who would have thought ABC and CBS would settle with him, but they did. I hope the WSJ has irrefutable proof that it was done by Trump. Although I have to agree with Don Jr. that it doesn't really sound like Trump and doodling is supposedly a sign of intelligence so...
I think that the WSJ has a lot more. The birthday love note was bait.
Agree. I think Murdoch is ready to take down Trump because of the longterm damage Trump is doing to the economy. Remember, Fox News was not on board with Trump's presidential candidacy until his nomination in 2016 became inevitable. They've supported him since only because their viewers demand it. (As evidence showed in the voting machine lawsuit, they were bleeding viewers to Newmax and OAN until they started backing up Trump's rigged voting machine claims.) It's perfect to have WSJ expose Trump. Their readers are not the MAGA cult members drawn in by conspiracy theories-- they are mainstream Republicans who can primarily about the economy and their own wealth. It's a good strategy-- Report on Epstein to weaken Trump's hold on that part of his base, but do it from an organ of Newscorps that is an arm's length from Fox News. The billionaires got their tax cut. The rest of Trump's agenda just hurts their bottom line.
If everything you wrote is true about Murdoch, he needs to get the NY Post and Fox News inline.
