Jed is Jim Bob's next politician in the making. Jed didn't attend the trial because he was on the witness list. I didn't see anything about one of the sons calling Jim Bob out, but if it was anyone, it was probably Jason, since he attended several days of the trial, including closing arguments and the day the family friend testified about Josh's previous molestation claims.
