I happy at this news. But also am a bit skeptical. This guy is a Trump's political appointee. Will he defy Trump to tell the truth? [/quote]

The question should be asked, will ambassador Sondland cave under pressure (perhaps he is being blackmailed) to lie under oath so as to advance the agenda of Trump's political enemies?  [/quote]

Sondland won't tell the truth. He is the intermediary who talked directly to Trump  and Zelensky about the quid pro quo, the deliverable, the public commitment to reopen the investigations, in exchange for a WH meeting and release of the military assistance. If he tells the truth, they all go down. He will lie. [/quote]
