I disagree. That had been my first impression. But they were people who wanted to be there.
Catelyn would have managed ok, and has not gotten over losing Carlie.
I am thinking her boyfriend is domineering and with him out the picture would have kept the baby. Their relationship is toxic, the adoptive parents are not interested in them. Carlie is better off distancing herself from them[/quote]
