I don't really care about the outcome but [b]you seem aggravated[/b], so:

1.  The moderators don't see your rando all-caps demands for removal of this thread.  If you want to communicate with the moderators you need to use the "report" button on a prior post.
2.  To save you some time, they don't remove threads because people find them annoying.  If they devolve into ugliness/excessive divulging of personal details about identifiable individuals, they will lock/remove threads.
3.  This battle -- move the lax thread to a sports forum -- was already fought and the moderators moved the thread back to the private school forum.  So, to use a legal term, "res judicata."  To use an ordinary phrase, the train has left the station.
4.  [b]The idea that the thread "prevents other threads from getting attention" is silly[/b][b] -- there are something like 20 threads on the first page of this forum, so plenty of display space on the digital shelf.[/b]
5.  It's a simple solution but . . . just don't read this particular thread.  If you feel you need to read because you think there are specifically harmful posts on it, keep reading and report those specific posts.

Awesome post.  I especially like #4.  For some reason the first poster remains immune to the logic of Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5 because they have been pointed out numerous times.  There is just no pleasing or reasoning with some people.  In an event, thanks for another valiant effort![/quote]
