They call him.that because it's one of their rallying cries. It's to associate him with Nancy Pelosi whose district is San Francisco. She was also an open supporter for Walz. It's a dog whistle for them. The same way they use the name Obama. It's also an attempt to attack his small town, Midwestern, folks grandpa persona. Basically he's a phoney don't be fooled he's just as ultra liberal as the rest of the Californians. It's a tactic. It remains to be seen how effective it is. [/quote]
