Do you get why people would find it so unbelievable that parents would use a garrote on their child who is unconscious but still alive? Just to protect the brother's accident? I'm not buying that they thought she was already dead. Even if she was in a coma, she would be breathing and have a pulse. And also you have to believe they sexually assault her. The only way is if Burke did it all- accidentally hit her too hard, she gets knocked out, he pokes her with the train tracks, he sexually assaults her with a paint brush or whatever, and somehow knows how to make a garrote and strangles her. The parents wouldn't have done this to a living child. I see them writing the note, placing the body in the wine cellar, etc but not the garrote and sexual assault.[/quote]
