Most normal parents, even though they are supporting their kid on American Idol, aren’t arranging secret parties for their teenager to generate interest, or creating a web page about their 12 year old daughter to support her music career. They exploited her, even if at 12 she said she wanted to do it. I can’t imagine doing that to a tween. Even beyond that, most parents aren’t buying up their child’s albums or have the savvy to negotiate business contracts for their child or claiming that they are their child’s therapist. [/quote]
