No, he’s had a bee in his bonnet re tariffs his entire life. It’s not media attention, it’s dementia. He lost the Casablanca piano at auction to a Japanese buyer, and a month later he was crowing about tariffs.

It’s come from being aggrieved and wanting retaliation. Except, when you have dementia, you double down on your positions. My dad had it, and you fixate. He’s fixated on it, and these clowns around him are willing to burn down the economy for an old man’s demented whims. Why? Because men are weak.[/quote]
