I had the EXACT same thought--what a financially beneficial friendship this is!

Her whole thing was being clueless at life--no common sense re: finances, refused to develop any practical skills, learn to cook etc. Glad she learned how to sauté a piece of fish but she doesn't have much else to show for the last 30 years. But she's wealthy now, thanks to her marriage, so yay?[/quote]
