He's making the same mistake in Iran, thinking a decapitation of the regime will lead to... what exactly? A peaceful transition to power to a more liberal government is NOT POSSIBLE. The Iraq wars tell us this much. It led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians in the region! And the end result for the US was what? Expenses in money and American lives.

It is even worst. He wants the Republican Guard to take over. They will turn Iran in to North Korea. They will go nuclear very quickly. I mean if you were them wouldn’t you? A nuclear weapon with a ballistic delivery system and no one will mess with Iran.

The mistake Iran made was agreeing to inspections to begin with. The new regime will not do that again. The Republicans have shown they will not abide by any treaty just like Israel. [/quote]
