They haven’t even given public notice of a formal closure. 
They haven’t formally articulated why the closing is necessary.
There’s been no publically available impact study on educational impact on students, transportation studies, less disruptive solutions etc.
There’s also no formal meaningful community engagement on closure of Wootton (engagement on boundary study is a separate thing and doesn’t count).

Not PP, but just wanted to add—this type of action by MCPS should be alarming to everyone. You cannot close a school without following the law. Think of the precedent. If this can happen to Wootton, it can happen to any school. Damascus? Magruder… maybe they’ll close those schools next.[/quote]
