The "seasonal year" wordings you're reading were chosen by US Soccer because they dont want to color or imply anything into member leagues decisions. It's like telling people you drive a car vs saying you drive a Ford.

But the 8/1 decision made by USYS and now wade and confirmed by ECNL is definitely called School Year.[/quote] This says seasonal year, it will be seasonal year.
