I didn't see that comment earlier. I taught military kids for a number of years in a DOD school. Yes, they do develop resilience, but when they are in a Dod school all are in the same boat and adjustments are made and understood by the teachers. I know many, many military who took unaccompanied tours in order for their kids to stay in the same high school for four years. Some even retired in order to give their kids consistency. High school is different. [/quote]
