Again, we're going to need a pie chart or something to see what is most important to Wootton families. I would guess the top couple would be: -location -staying with the expected cohort -safe and functioning school I'd guess the awards and powerwashing the exterior would be waaaay down that list. Couldn't the powerwashing and some light cosmetic rehab be done by some sort of community event? What's exactly in the trophy case? Doing a quick Google search brings up this result: Wootton High School has a strong championship history across various sports, including recent successes like the 2025 State Swim & Dive titles (with individual records), a Bocce County Championship, and strong Cross Country finishes (including 2024 3A State Runner-Up for girls). They also have historical state titles in Girls Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, and Golf, along with competitive acapella (The Academics) and other programs. Recent Highlights (2024-2025): Swimming & Diving: Won three 2025 Maryland State Championships, including individual wins and a state record in freestyle for Tyler Coapstick (Feb 2025). Bocce: Won the 2025 Montgomery County Championship (Feb 2025). Cross Country: Girls team finished 3A West Region Champions and 4th at States in 2024; boys placed 3rd regionally (Nov 2025). Acapella: The Academics won the Sing Strong competition in NYC (Feb 2024). Historical State Championships (Selected): Girls Volleyball: 7 times (1983-89). Varsity Basketball: 3 times (1978-79, 1983). Baseball: 1996. Golf: 3 times (1983, 1996-97). Girls Soccer: 1998. Cross Country: 1978. Other Noteworthy Achievements: Strong county-level performances in various sports, including recent success in indoor track & field and other team sports
