My problem is they weren't talked to, they were talked AT via a broadcast. No chance for the students to ask questions. They just told then what they wanted them to hear and that's it. It's also shady that they never sent an email to parents to give them a heads up or a copy of what their kids will see/hear. They also said at the board meeting that they'd be reaching out to parents first and then going to schools to talk WITH kids in December.[/quote]

I'll be interested in what information was shared with the kids today.  I have no problem with them sharing information with kids that parents already have access to.  But, since almost no information has been shared directly from FCPS to parents thus far outside of the one community meeting that wasn't cancelled, I don't know what information they could possibly have to share with kids.[/quote]
