Sounds like she did for the same reason she wanted an abortion-- she was poor and desperate and didn't have good options. Not that hard to understand.

If she was poor and desperate, why didn't the pro-choice movement find something for her, as a spokesperson, speaking tours, or whatever.  Heck she is the poster child for the movement.  [/quote]
