You tell your Polish friend to commit a crime, any crime, from jaywalking to murder and then you tell them to compare the circumstances of their arrest and the harshness of their sentence (if any) to that of a person of color who committed the same crime.
You tell your Polish friend to walk into a bank and apply for a loan, any loan, from a personal to a small business or a home equity and then you tell them to compare their interest rate to that of a person of color who has an equal if not better credit score (assuming the person of color even got approved).
Sorry is it 1950 and there are only white bankers? At my local wells fargo everyone is either black. Hispanic or middle eastern. If i am white will the black banker favor me?
But the point is we aren't talking about individuals - we are talking about the system. Overall, minorities have a harder time getting loans.
It's the system! It's the MAN! That's the problem with liberalism. Groupthink makes it easy for the individual to not do a damn thing to help his/her own situation. How fatalistic!
Its the same when many whites complain that an asian manager doesn't recruit whites, because a white man like himself, was rejected. Maybe he is not qualified. Maybe he is not a team player. Maybe his attitude is not acceptable. Groupthink is not party specific. Obama's birth was doubted by 72% of republicans in Aug 2016. That is some serious GROUP THINK. http://www.mediaite.com/online/new-poll-shows-that-41-of-republicans-still-dont-think-obama-was-born-in-the-u-s/
