You can assume whatever you want, but like you I have elementary aged Montessori children (plural). I have no idea why you insist otherwise. And because my children have primary experience I know how important it is as a foundation for elementary. If half the kids didn't have that foundation the guide should have to make significant accommodations to the method. Because you and your child don't have that background you don't seem to understand this.[/quote]

I note PP who has claimed on more than one thread that anyone who says that it's not a good idea to incorporate kids without Montessori experience into the elementary classroom can't possibly know what they are talking about because they must only have a three year old has not come back to apologize or admit that she was wrong when faced with information that directly contradicts her erroneous assertion.
