So many things wrong with this statement. [b]The military is why you live such a privileged pampered life here. [/b]Do you know how rampant wars were? These people sacrifice themselves to keep you and your family safe and you call them without humanity?

As for losing your daughter to a senseless death, I am sure all those families with sons really wanted their boys to be drafted. No one wants their children to go to war, when it happens it's a tragedy for all.

So basically it's ok to scream about equal wages (usually not equal work), and whinge and moan about air conditioning as a patriarchy tactic and what not. But when it comes to a true test of sacrifice and equality all bets are off. Hypocritical. [/quote]

No it's not.  I'm tired of this rhetoric.  The reasons we have a privileged life here is because of a strong Constitution that protects civil rights, and generally good (albeit not perfect) governance.   [/quote]
