Anorexia as a disorder has nothing to do with weight. Extreme thinness is sometimes but not always a symptom. Anorexia is a mental disorder/illness that at its core is about control, not weight loss. You start out feeling like you're a master of self control, but in the end, it controls you, not the other way around. I don't think Kate is there yet. I think she's still in the driver's seat.
