By leaving the workforce to care for you children full time, you have proven that you don't need to work. If you really needed the job, you wouldn't have been able to leave the workforce. Therefore, it's fair to conclude that if things get tough, you might not stick around, because you've proven that you can make it without the job.[/quote]
