Each and everyone of these people know exactly where to get free food and shelter each day. They know the system very well and use it to there benefit. It's so bad now that hundreds of these homeless are now living in the suburbs outside SF, many causing wildland fires from camping in the open space and accidentally burning down abandoned buildings they take over as shelter.[/quote]
What program do they get the $1000 check from? Do they have to go pick it up? Are people turned away from shelters and free meals? I'm from another city with a large homeless/transient population and there is nowhere near enough money/services for them[/quote]
