how is the confederate flag a sad part of history, when the annihilation of the native Americans is never mentioned.
Or did the northern state inhabitants kill them too, or did they die from disease because every woman descided to show their baby to a white man who caughed on the child. Somehow the slaves never died like that.

Disenfranchisement of and discrimination against women and non-whites were both wrong, as well, and some aspects of the discrimination continue today.

Those who currently most commonly carry and display the Confederate Flag embody the worst of those histories.

Those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it.

I'd like to remind everybody that slavery is still very much a part of the world present, including the U.S. If you feel so strongly about slavery, get and do something. Combat human trafficking or some shit. [/quote]
