Ha  :D thanks for the reassurance.  I just thought it was funny how it combined some of the things often looked down on on this site - Catholic, not Ivy or anywhere near equivalent, and in the dreaded flyover part of the country.  All kidding aside, he loved the campus, loves the idea of going somewhere a little different for college, and they had the direct admit physical therapy program he wanted.  So yup, I agree it's a good choice for him! [/quote]

There are some ridiculous posters on DCUM who look down on anything that's not HPY, Stanford or MIT (Columbia & Brown [b]might[/b] be acceptable to them, too  :lol: ). Don't mind them -- Marquette is a very good school that the majority of students could only dream of being admitted to & it sounds like it's the perfect fit for him! Congratulations to your son!
