Once you cross over N. Capitol street into NW you are in Petworth. A good chunk of Petworth is definitely walking distance to the Fort Totten metro. I live in the Fort Totten neighborhood - my walk to metro is almost 15 minutes and I commute that way every day. I will say that on the weekends, when metro is running less frequently, I'm happy we have car.[/quote]
