Stay at a disney property and they have staff who play games with the kids at the pool every afternoon (hello, reading time!), free hotel transfers and luggage delivery. The rides are designed so that adults can fit on all of them comfortably; no watching the kids ride all day or squeezing into tiny seats. And the rides are really cool and creative. Consider that it's not as popular as it is simply because they market well; it's popular because it's an easy family vacation and everyone really does have a nice time.
