Sigh, more lies.... let me address them Those apartments you described are fairfax towers, idylwood towers or idylwood village. None of them are low income, none are subsidized and none are visible from pimmit hills. In fact they are closer to britney parc which is a neighborhood full of near million dollar homes and if you think those apartments are a negative they would affect britney parc not pimmit hills. Last I checked Britney parc is selling without issues. There are also other neighborhoods near those apartments with million dollar plus homes that sell just fine as well. I don't know what your hatred is for pimmit hills but until you provide truths you will be called out and reprimanded as an idiot.
When prices hit a price point over $800K in PH, even for nicer homes that are new or practically new, it's much harder to sell. http://franklymls.com/FX8293066 http://franklymls.com/FX8245699 So people being solicited to buy shacks prime for a tear down for over $600K deserve to know they have other alternatives, not to mention that the house in question sold for less than $400K about six months ago. I don't think the neighborhood is very appealing or that it's remotely clear that the improvements warrant such a giant mark-up.
Again check your facts, homes in pimmit hills that are properly priced in the 800 to 950 range sell without issues. The first home is 1.3 million and the second is a small new construction. Besides what does this have to do with homes under 600k.
